The Journey Behind The Vision
A story built through experience, resilience, and a passion for helping learner drivers succeed.
Beginning of the Journey
My journey in driving education began when I was first employed as a marketer at one of the prominent driving schools where I had previously trained as a student. Through dedication I was promoted after six months to a Theory Trainer, helping learner drivers understand traffic rules, road signs, and driving theory.
Identifying Learner Struggles
While working closely with students, I noticed that many learners struggled with important driving concepts — especially the Model Town Board — causing many to fail their tests repeatedly. This inspired me to simplify driving education and create more intuitive learning methods.
Pivoting Through Change
After years of service in different roles, I left employment in 2019 due to workplace challenges. I later joined another driving institution, just before the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the entire training industry in 2020.
Going Digital
During the pandemic I decided to use my experience to help learner drivers online — creating educational videos and driving aids. As more students benefited, "Teacher David Kenya" gradually gained trust across YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.
Rebranding to Teacher David Global
In 2024, I rebranded to "Teacher David Global" to reflect a larger, borderless vision — providing top-tier driving education not only for Kenya, but for learners and drivers around the world.
